Phyllis Mckibben

Phyllis Gene McKibben, 84, of Cadiz, died Monday February 9, 2015 at the Carriage Inn of Cadiz. She was born October 14, 1930 in Wadsworth, Ohio, a daughter of the late Leslie Casper and Mary Ellen Holbert Hildreth. Mrs. McKibben was an active member of Rankin United Methodist Church and a Care Giver. She enjoyed square dancing and writing for the Harrison News-Herald. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles William McKibben, whom she married in 1949; two sisters, Lois and Nedolene and a brother Farrell. Surviving are two sons, Michael (Kathleen) McKibben of Dover and William Jeffery "Jeff" McKibben of Columbus; three grandchildren, Zach McKibben of Dover, Nate (Kristy) McKibben of Dayton and Sarah (Michael) Marcovitz of New Philadelphia; two great grandsons, Matthew and Ryan Marcovitz; and a longtime companion, Bob Davis. A private service was held at the convenience of the family at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz with Pastor William Burris officiating. Burial was in Olive Branch Cemetery, Harrisville.
