Ricky Tanner

Ricky C. Tanner, 39, of Cadiz, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 10, 2022. He was born August 31, 1983 in Steubenville, Ohio a son of Sherri (Ernie) Simms Mansfield of Cadiz and the late Ricky “Hot Wheels” Tanner.

He was preceded in death in addition to his father; by his grandfather, Carl Tanner and his grandmother, Mabel Barnhart Richards.

Surviving in addition to his mother and stepfather; are his wife Brandi Gerber Tanner; 2 children: Gavin Tanner and Shylo (finace’ Jason Hamilton) Tanner; his grandchildren: Ryot Hamilton and Allie and Jaydin; his sister, Tawnya (Dustin) Myers of Cadiz and their children Lexi and Dylan; Grandmother, Shirley Yoho Tanner of Morristown; Grandfather, Charles “Mick” (Glenna) Simms of Scio and Grandfather, Perl “Porky” Richards of Cadiz, Ohio.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 16 from Noon until time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, Cadiz, with Rev. Ashley Steele officiating. Burial will follow at Cadiz Union Cemetery.
