Robert L. ''Drillbob'' Hoagland, 72, of Cadiz, died Tuesday, April 30, 2002 at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz, Ohio. He was born December 3, 1929 in Scio, Ohio, a son of the late Howard and Anna Singhaus Hoagland. He was a driller for R. & F. Coal Co. in Cadiz. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Francis Howard Singhaus; and infant son, Robert, Jr.; 2 brothers, William and Earl Myron Hoagland. Surviving are a son, Michael Hoagland, Hopedale; 3 daughters, Mary Ann Bowersock, New Philadelphia, Robbin Lynn Hoagland, Deersville, and Sandra Shull, Cadiz; 4 grandchildren; 1 sister, Shirley McCartney, Canton, OH. The family will receive friends on Sat., May 4, 2002 at 6:00 p.m. at Barrett Schoolhouse near Cadiz. A private interment will be held at Hanover Church Cemetery, Scio, OH.
