Ronald L. Ferri, 68, of Georgetown passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at his home after a long battle with cancer. He was born April 30, 1953 in Wheeling, WV, a son of the late Dominic and Martha (Blake) Ferri.
Ron retired from Columbus Equipment Company in 2019 after 35 years of service. He was an avid sports fan, especially Cleveland. He loved watching and helping his grandkids with sports. He never missed an event.
In addition to his parents; he is preceded in death by his father- and mother-in-law, George and Catherine (Kate) Bomboris and two sisters-in-law, Constance (Mike) Slaga and Sue (Jack) Moore.
Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Teresa (Bomboris) Ferri; their children, Ryan (Tiffany Johnson) Ferri and Becky (Joe) Thomas, both of Cadiz and a special niece, Katelyn Bomboris; grandchildren, Kamryn and Chase Campbell and Connor Ferri; step-grandchildren, Lucas, Landen, and Lillian Thomas and Logan and Madalyn Johnson. Also surviving are his brothers, Rick (Sherrie) Ferri and Dave (Gina) Ferri, all of Cadiz; brothers-in-law, George Bomboris of Adena and Tony (Brenda) Bomboris of Colliers, WV; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 27, from 3-8 at Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, Cadiz where funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Pete Tuchek officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for memorial contributions to be made to the Harrison County Cancer Crusaders, c/o Julie McPeak, 226 Charleston Street, Cadiz, Ohio 43907.
