Rose M. Lester of Ronceverter, West Virginia formerly of Jewett, Ohio passed away Sunday, February 21, 2010 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center. Born December 24, 1928 in Jewett, Ohio, Rose was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Hauber Richards. She was a resident of Ronceverte for 20 years and a member of the Greystone Baptist Church. Rose is survived by her six children: Bill, Michelle, Tyra, Brad, Samantha, and Chad; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and a sister, Eileen Smitherman of Columbus, Ohio. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Greystone Baptist Church in Farilea, West Virginia and Thursday from Noon to 2:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery, Hopedale, Ohio with Rev. Youel Altizer officiating. The memorial guestbook may be signed at www.clark-kirkland.com.
