Sue Case

Sue Case, 100, formerly of Hopedale, passed away on April 26, 2024, at the Harrison County Home surrounded by her family. She was born on February 10, 1924, in Rushrun, Ohio, a daughter of the late Martin and Anna Lenko. 

She was a homemaker, always taking care of her family.

She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her first husband, Harold Schrickel; second husband, Harold “Pat” Case; a son, Harold (Sonny) Schrickel; and many siblings. 

She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca (William) Irvin; daughter-in-law, Betty Schrickel; grandsons, Michael (Jolyn) Schrickel, Shawn (Dawn) Schrickel, Krae (Amber) Merryman; Heath (Aubrey) Merryman: great-grandson, Karter Merryman; stepdaughters, Alice (Bob) Hirschbach and Linda (Kevin) Costello; 14 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. 

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 12 to 1 with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Hopedale, Ohio.
