Thomas Perry

Thomas E. Perry, 65, of St. Clairsville, formerly of Cadiz, died Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born July 24, 1949 in Cadiz, a son of the late James and Wilma Thompson Perry. Tom was a retired coal miner and was the owner and operator of Perry's Tree Service in Cadiz. He was a Methodist by faith and was a member of the UMWA. He enjoyed working with trees. Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Kirksey Perry; two daughters, Jeanette Morris (Terry) of Mt. Morris, PA and Betty Jane Perry of Coshocton; a son, Thomas Perry, Jr. (Rebecca Grimm) of Sunset Heights, OH; nine grandchildren: Michael, Brent, Tammy, Debbie, Justin, Samantha, Terri, Deanna, and Matthew; five great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Isabelle, Ashlyn, Abbey, and Skyler; and two sisters, Betty McCleary of Smithville and Martha Grimes of Cadiz. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, 172 S. Main St., Cadiz, where friends may call two hours previous.
