Thomas Weaver

Thomas E. "Tom" Weaver, 47, of Jewett, died Saturday, July 6, 2013 at his home. He was born January 12, 1966 in Dennison, Ohio, a son of the late Charles and Mildred Crall Weaver. Tom was a former employee of W.C. Cardinal Corp. in Cadiz. He was a NASCAR fan and loved playing with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a twin sister, Tammy Weaver and a brother, Roger Hursey. Surviving are his wife, Joan Smigiel Weaver; a son, Charles Weaver; a daughter, Daniela Weaver; and two grandchildren, Tyler and Paige Weaver, all of Jewett; a sister, Victoria Mingus of Cadiz; two brothers, Victor Hursey of Dover and Robert Hursey of Jewett; five half-brothers, Ronald Weaver of Barnhill, Walt and Dale Weaver of Dover; Mike and Donald Weaver of Tuscarawas Co.; and a half-sister, Shirley Schweitzer, of Midvale. Friends may call Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz. Pastor Matthew Bates will officiate.
