Toni R. Dean

Toni Reneé Dean, 49, of Jewett, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025, at Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, Ohio after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on February 28, 1976, in Steubenville, Ohio, to Donald H. Dean, Jr. and Diana L. Baker.

Toni loved animals, especially her dogs, Ivy and Apollo. She also loved spending time with her friends. Just like her dad and son, Toni was always rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Toni wanted to send a sincere thank you and her appreciation to the Medical Expense Donors and the Harrison County Cancer Crusaders.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald H. Dean, Jr.

She is survived by her mother, Diana L. Hoobler Baker; son, Zane (Jaslyn) Dean; siblings, Carrie (Frank) Maxwell, Craig (Sharon) Maxwell and Scott (Jody) Dean; nieces, Cara, Summer, Meghan and Lindsay; nephew, Ben; an uncle, grandmother, and several aunts, cousins and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Fairview Gardens Cemetery, Jewett with Dorman Mader officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Toni’s mother to help with funeral expenses, Diana Baker, 84980 Snyder Road, Jewett, Ohio 43986.
