Troy Olmstead

Troy Roderick Olmstead, 59, of Cadiz, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Sunnyslope Retirement Center in Bowerston, Ohio. He was born January 2, 1964 a son of the late George and Ellen Virginia Jones Olmstead.

Troy was a horse trainer and groomer.

In addition to his parents; he was preceded by his siblings: Claudia, Starr and Gordon.

He is survived by his wife, Mary K. Gardner Olmstead; 2 sons: Christopher and Roderick Olmstead; 2 stepchildren: Teala Swanson and Bryan DeOss; a number of grandchildren and a great granddaughter; siblings: Sammy Olmstead, Joy Olmstead, Sherry West and Nathan Olmstead; a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family is being assisted by Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, 172 South Main Street, Cadiz, Ohio 43907.
