Vicky L. Thomas Whitehead, 60, of Cadiz, formerly of Wintersville, died Thursday at her home. She was born July 12, 1948 in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of the late William Kimbrel and the late Evelyn Stamm Kimbrel Reams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack Whitehead. Surviving are a son, Shawn Thomas of Steubenville; a daughter, Stacie Lorae Shiplett of Akron; six grandchildren; a brother, Gary Reams of Akron and a sister, Cassie Toker of Cadiz. Friends may call Saturday, 4-7 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where funeral services will be held Sunday, August 3, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Mark Statler officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Jewett. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Valley Hospice. Online condolences may be made at www.clark-kirkland.com.
