Vivian I. Stamm Singer, 90, of Cadiz, died Monday, June 16, 2014 at the Harrison County Home, Cadiz. She was born November 9, 1923 in Cadiz, a daughter of the late Lewis J. Stamm and Clara Mae Sheets Stamm Petty. Vivian was a retired Clerk for CSX Railroad. She attended the First Church of Christ in Cadiz and was avidly involved with harness horses. She was a friend to all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Reams; a brother, Robert Stamm; and a niece, Vicky Whitehead. Surviving are her husband, Ray Singer; a sister, Rose Delaney of Jewett; a step-son, James Edward (Cheryl) Singer of Flushing; a step-daughter, Darlene (Leroy) Boyce of Holloway; nieces and nephews: Michelle Dunlap, Kelley Harris, Denny Albaugh, Judy Carman, Karen LaCross, Robert Stamm, Cassie Toker, and Gary Reams. Friends may call Wednesday, 4-8 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Paul Giffin officiating.
