William Sproul

William R. Sproul, 65, of Cadiz, died Monday, October 28, 2002 at Trinity Medical Center, West, Steubenville, Ohio. He was born July 15, 1937 in Flushing, Ohio, a son of the late John F. and Gladys Marie Cordner Sproul. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Sproul, Jr. Surviving are 4 aunts, Wilma Cunningham, Freeport, OH, Maxine Nucci, Flushing, OH, Wanda Thompson, Cadiz, OH, and Shirley Martin, Florida; 2 nephews, John Edward Sproul and his wife, Judy, of Cadiz, Ohio and Dennis Lee Sproul of Columbus; a niece, Beth Ralston and her husband, Richard, of New Philadelphia; 2 grand nephews; 2 grand nieces; several cousins, including Gary Brown, Cathy Wells, Joyce Heavilin and Chelsea Wells, all of Cadiz. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, where Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 30, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Paul Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow at Cadiz Union Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 274, Cadiz, Ohio 43907.
