Yvonne Mcleod

Yvonne J. McLeod, 65, of Cadiz, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 27, 2013. She was born April 25, 1948 in Toledo, OH, a daughter of the late Charles H. and Virginia L. Ramsey Mason. Yvonne was a member of St. James AME Church in Cadiz, where she sang in the choir. She worked in sales for AAFES PX in Ft. Riley, KS; was a Substitute Teacher and Lunch Aid at Harrison Central High School; and was a retired Habilitation Specialist from the Cadiz Group Home. She volunteered at Harcatus Community Action and was a member of the Harrison County Democratic Women's Club and the SEIU union in St. Clairsville. She was a coordinator of the annual Mason family reunion held in Cadiz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Charlotte Blanchard. Surviving are her husband, Roger McLeod, Jr.; a son Roger McLeod, III; three brothers, Kenneth L. (Adele) Mason and Victor J. (Belinda) Mason, all of Cadiz and Alan N. Webster of Denver, CO; three sisters, H. Marie (Calvin) Harris of Long Beach, CA, Lois K. Mason-Williams (Bruce) of Toledo and Candy L. Mason of Cadiz; many nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz.
